Pico Spot Laser (targeted treatment for well-defined pigmentation lesions)

This is a high-intensity laser treatment designed to target well-defined, pinpoint pigmentation (age/dark spots) or birthmarks. The laser is applied in a spot-treatment manner, creating small scabs that naturally fall off as part of the healing process. The treatment also involves the phagocytic activity of immune cells, so we recommend evaluating the results over the course of several months.

Pico Spot Laser (targeted treatment for well-defined pigmentation lesions)

  • Scabbing: Scabs may form on the treated areas, and the pigmentation may temporarily appear darker. These are signs of a normal and favorable healing process. Please do not forcibly remove the scabs; instead, allow them to fall off naturally with gentle facial cleansing.
  • Redness, Warmth, Itching, Swelling: Mild redness or warmth may occur following the treatment. These symptoms usually subside within a day, or a few days at most. In rare cases, swelling may be more noticeable. If you are concerned, please schedule a follow-up consultation.
  • Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH): In some cases, pigmentation may become darker within a month after treatment. In rare cases, this darkening may exceed the original pigmentation. Multiple sessions of Pico laser toning (at additional fee) are often effective in improving this condition.
  • Hypopigmentation (White Spots): Rarely, hypopigmentation may occur. Please note that treatment for white spots can be difficult.
  • Treatment Response: In rare cases, the treatment may not respond as expected. Please note that no refunds will be provided in such cases. The number of sessions required and the degree of improvement may vary between individuals.

  • Ointment: For pigmented spots larger than a few millimeters, please keep the treated area covered with tape for approximately ten days to two weeks after the procedure. The tape does not need to be replaced daily; please only replace it if it comes off. Please apply a thin layer of the prescribed ointment to the treated area; directly on small spots, and over the tape for larger spots that are covered. Keep the treated area consistently moisturized with the ointment, and continue application until the new skin has fully re-epithelialized.
  • Medications: Post-laser oral and topical medications are essential. The following are typically prescribed to enhance treatment outcomes and support recovery.
    ●Hythiol (L-cysteine)
Works with vitamin C to inhibit tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin synthesis, thereby helping to prevent pigmentation and promote the removal of existing melanin.
    ●Cinal (Vitamin C + Pantothenic acid)
Provides antioxidant effects that help suppress melanin synthesis.
    ●Tranexamic acid
Suppresses plasmin, a melanocyte-activating factor involved in melanin synthesis. As it is also a hemostatic agent, it should not be used by individuals with a history of thrombotic disorders or those taking oral contraceptives. Use for three consecutive months, followed by a break of at least one month. Discontinue if you experience side effects such as abdominal discomfort, swelling, stiff shoulders, or irregular menstruation.
    ●Hydroquinone cream
Begin using this cream approximately two weeks after scabbing has fallen off and the new skin is fully epithelialized and dry. Apply a thin layer at night using a cotton swab, directly to the targeted area. If you experience significant redness or itching, stop using the cream and consult us.
  • UV Protection: Please be sure to take sufficient measures against UV exposure by using sunscreen and products such as U•Vlock.
  • Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH): If PIH occurs, hydroquinone cream may be used. However, do not apply it to the laser-treated area for 3 to 4 weeks after the procedure. When you begin using the cream, apply a thin layer precisely to the treated area using a cotton swab or similar tool after washing your face at night. Discontinue use if you experience severe redness, itching, or other irritation.
  • Additional Laser Treatment: Please allow at least two months between sessions for additional laser treatment of pigmentation or birthmarks.
  • Skincare Products: Please refrain from using skincare products or medications that contain ingredients such as hydroquinone or retinol, which may cause peeling or redness, during the course of laser treatment.
  • Other Concerns: If you have any questions or notice anything unusual, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Cheek Lift (Cheek Line Lift with Dissolvable Threads)

  • 3 Threads per Side: ¥270,000 (tax included)

Cheek Lift (Cheek Line Lift with Dissolvable Threads)

This procedure involves the insertion of specialized absorbable threads with cogs (hook-like structures) underneath the skin using a fine needle to improve skin sagging along the cheek line. To enhance and maintain the lifted contour, a small amount of hyaluronic acid may be injected perpendicular to the thread placement. This procedure combines both thread lifting and dermal filler techniques for optimal results.

The lifting effect can be described as similar to gently supporting the area with the palm of your hand. In addition to the mechanical lifting, the threads stimulate collagen production around the insertion sites, which may contribute to improved skin texture and a delay in visible signs of aging. Please note that the effects vary among individuals.

Cheek Lift (Cheek Line Lift with Dissolvable Threads)

  • Pain, Swelling, and Bruising: These symptoms typically subside within about 1 week, although they may take longer in some cases. Occasionally, bruising (blue discoloration) as subcutaneous hemorrhage may appear on the cheeks but usually resolves within approximately 2 weeks. In very rare cases, swelling of the parotid gland may occur. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to return for a follow-up consultation.
  • Needle Entry Points: Small needle entry points for thread insertion will be made on the inner mucosal area above the upper gums, one on each side. These typically heal within about 1 week. The needle entry points for the hyaluronic acid injections in the cheeks are generally very discreet and are barely noticeable, even immediately after the procedure.
  • Infection: Although rare, there is a possibility of infection. If you experience increased swelling or other unusual symptoms, medical treatment may be required. In such cases, please return for a follow-up consultation.
  • Tightness, Skin Irregularities, and Thread-Related Issues: You may experience sensations of tightness, skin irregularities, dimpling, or thread-related issues such as a visible or palpable thread beneath the skin. In very rare cases, the end of a thread may protrude through the skin. If you notice any of these symptoms, please return for a follow-up consultation. Some cases may be corrected manually, while others may require minor surgical revision.
  • Circulatory Complications: In very rare cases, circulatory complications may occur due to the hyaluronic acid injection. If you experience increasing pain after the procedure, or if you notice any unusual sensations, especially in areas other than the treatment site, please contact us immediately. If it is after office hours, kindly reach out the next day for a follow-up appointment. There is a risk of skin necrosis, and treatment may be necessary to prevent further complications.

  • Cleansing and Makeup: You may gently wash your face, shampoo your hair, take a shower and apply makeup starting from the day of the surgery. However, please refrain from taking a bath until 3 days after the surgery.
  • Driving and Operating Vehicles: Please refrain from driving a car, riding a motorcycle, and operating a bicycle or any other vehicle at least on the day of the surgery. For several days after the surgery, please choose soft, non-irritating foods.
  • Antibiotics and Painkillers: Please take the prescribed antibiotics for one day. Painkillers should be taken as needed, with a dosage of 1 or 2 tablets per dose, and a maximum of 3 tablets per day. It is advisable to avoid taking painkillers on an empty stomach.
  • Facial Massage: Please refrain from vigorous facial cleansing, facial or scalp massage, and dental treatment for 1 month after the surgery.
  • Effects of Surgery: Immediately after the procedure, the effect will appear more lifted than the final result. Over the course of about 1 month, the lifted area will gradually settle into its final position. Following that, the results will naturally continue to change at a pace determined by your individual aging process.
  • Variation in Results: The speed at which the skin sags and the perception of youthful appearance vary greatly between individuals and are subject to personal factors. Therefore, it is difficult to predict the exact duration of the effects of the procedure. If there is little or no change, or if the results revert more quickly than expected, please note that re-treatment will be charged at the standard fee. In cases where the results return quickly, we recommend considering a higher-grade treatment for the next procedure. Please allow at least 3 months before undergoing re-treatment in the same area.
  • Deformity: If any visible deformity occurs, we will provide corrective treatment free of charge within 1 year after the initial surgery.
  • Other Concerns: If you have any questions or notice anything unusual, please do not hesitate to contact us.
